Tribe lets you store your loyalty cards in one place, so they’re easier to find when you need them. Below you’ll find quick steps, common questions, and simple fixes for the things users ask about most.

Quick start

Get up and running with Tribe in under a minute.

Step 1
Download the app and sign up.
Step 2
Add your first card. You can scan the barcode, enter it manually, or import cards if available.
Step 3
Next time you shop, open the card and show the barcode to be scanned at the till.
That’s it. Once your cards are in Tribe, you don’t need to carry them again.

Frequently asked questions

Why isn’t my card scanning?

Try increasing your phone brightness, cleaning the screen, and holding the phone steady. Some scanners also work better when the barcode is slightly further away rather than very close.

Can I add any loyalty card?

You can add many cards supported by Tribe, and in some cases add a custom card if your brand is not listed.

Can I edit or recapture a card?

Yes. Open the card, go to its settings, and choose the option to recapture or update the card details.

Why can’t I see promotions for some brands?

Promotions may only be available for certain brands, regions, or users. Some promotions may also expire or be hidden once they are no longer active.

Why am I only seeing promotions for cards I already have?

If the promotions filter is enabled in your settings, Tribe will only show promotions for brands already in your wallet. You can turn this off in the app settings.

Do I need an account to use Tribe?

Yes, an account helps keep your cards associated with you and makes it easier to manage them across sessions.

Is my data safe?

Tribe is built to store the information needed to help you access your cards and app settings. Good security practices are followed, but you should still protect your device with a passcode and keep the app updated.

Troubleshooting

App seems stuck or not loading properly
Close the app and open it again. If that doesn’t help, update to the latest version from the app store.
My card details don’t look updated
Try leaving the card screen and opening the card again. If the issue continues, restart the app.
A logo or promotion image is missing
This may be temporary, or that brand’s content may no longer be active. Try again later.
I changed a setting but nothing happened
Close and reopen the app, or switch tabs and return. Some settings may only affect certain parts of the app.
